Very cool, Jennifer! I love layers too - so useful. I find I save a lot of versions, because I often want to re-work things.

I should add, the tutorial was created by our guest cartoonist, Shawn Encarnacion. He draws the most wonderful characters!

When I was ready to stop paying for the extra storage unit, I had two friends who also had a collection of extra stuff (each of them had a basement for such use, so they were not as motivated to clear it as me and my 'have-to-write-that-check-every-month storage unit). We decided to help each other out. The two of them joined me one day to plow through my storage unit, and I joined each of them with their basements.

It was fabulous. I got to spend all day with the two of them talking about everything and nothing... and I got the albatross of my storage unit slayed. They were both wonderful with keeping up the pace (one cannot read old diaries from cover to cover when there are two other people doing manual labor right there) and helping me ditch the things I really didn't need.

Oh, and in the same vein - I've done a few clothing swaps and enjoyed them. Maybe you could do a book swap (with *all* leftovers going to Goodwill).
